CEMBUREAU
CEMBUREAU, based in Brussels, is the representative organisation of the cement industry in Europe.  Today CEMBUREAU includes 25 Members (23 Full Members and 2 Associate Members).  Its Full Members are the national cement industry associations and cement companies of the European Union and the European Free Trade Area (EFTA) countries plus the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, the Slovak Republic and Turkey. Estonia and Latvia are Associate Members of CEMBUREAU.

RILEM
RILEM, is a non profit-making, non-governmental technical association whose vocation is to contribute to progress in the construction sciences, techniques and industries, essentially by means of the communication it fosters between research and practice. RILEM'S activity therefore aims at developing the knowledge of properties of materials and performance of structures, at defining the means for their assessment in laboratory and service conditions and at unifying measurement and testing methods used with this objective.

IETcc Instituto de la Construcción y del Cemento Eduardo Torroja
En 1934, por iniciativa de un grupo de Arquitectos e Ingenieros, entre los que destacaban D. José Mª Aguirre, D. Modesto López Otero y D. Eduardo Torroja, se fundó en España el Instituto de la Construcción y la Edificación, con carácter de entidad privada dedicada exclusivamente al estudio e investigación en el campo de la construcción y de sus materiales.
En 1946, el Instituto se adhiere al Patronato Juan de la Cierva del Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas, CSIC , y en 1949 se fusiona con el Instituto del Cemento, creado por el Patronato en 1947, formándose así el Instituto Técnico de la Construcción y del Cemento, bajo la dirección de D. Eduardo Torroja.
En Junio de 1961, al fallecer el Profesor Torroja y en homenaje al mismo, su nombre se incorpora a la denominación oficial del Centro, hoy Instituto de Ciencias de la Construcción Eduardo Torroja (IETcc).
